NEWS BRIEF: RTL Deutschland’s free-to-air channel NTV has licensed limited series Cole: Al Qaeda’s Strike Before 9/11 from US distributor Big Media.
In addition to NTV, the 3×60’ series will also debut this month on Daily Wire+ in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand; JoJ in Slovakia, and TF1’s Historie Channel in France. It marks the 25th anniversary of the pre-9/11 attack on the USS Cole by the same terrorist group who went on to attack The World Trade Centre a year later and the doc is based on commanding officer Kirk Lippold’s first-hand account.
