SYNOPSIS:

Lorena García (Yelena Maciel) is forced to commit a murder to save the life of her son kidnapped by Guillermo, her husband, a hitman, who failed to try to assassinate the lawyer Marco Aurelio Corona. The plan is for her to work as a nurse at the lawyer's house to kill him. However, she is exposed to being discovered because, 15 years ago, she worked in that place with her sister. There she met Alberto Corona (Cristóbal Lander) with whom she fell in love platonically. Love is reborn between Alberto and Lorena, despite the difficulties that arise at home, although he is unaware of the plot to assassinate his father, in which Lorena is involved. Marco Aurelio is the victim, once again, of another attack in which he loses his life. Situation that submerges Alberto in deep pain and he swears to do justice. But his grief increases when he finds out that Gertrudis Sotillo (Caridad Canelón), his mother, was the intellectual author and that Lorena, then his wife, is related to the event. In the midst of all the conflict, Malena Corona Sotillo (Norkys Batista), Alberto's sister, lives the horror firsthand, as her husband, Pablo Miranda (Claudio de la Torre), constantly abuses her, also accusing her of being in love of another woman to justify her 'punishments'. And one of the many fights will end in tragedy. Meanwhile, Lorena must prove that her participation was forced to recover her son and thus try to appease Alberto's betrayed heart.
